ULANGAN HARIAN 1
MATA PELAJARAN KIMIA X/2
1.      Diketahui reaksi : C4H8 (g) + O2 (g) → CO2 (g) + H2O (l)
Jika gas CO2 yang terjadi 2 Liter, hitunglah Volume uap air yang terjadi ?
2.      Hitunglah Massa Molekul Relatif dari senyawa berikut : (Ar H = 1; Cl = 35,5; S = 32; O = 16)
a.       Mr H2SO4                               b.  Mr HCl
3.      Hitunglah jumlah mol senyawa HNO3 jika diketahui massa senyawa tersebut adalah 126 gram. (Ar H = 1; Ar N = 14; Ar O = 16)

Hi ! My name is Altus Baruati. I am 24 years old. I was graduate from 600 primary school Palembang graduated in 2001, 19 high school seniors graduated in 2004 Palembang, Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Palembang graduated in 2007. Then, I went to college through the selection of new admissions (SPMB). And I graduated in Inderalaya Sriwijaya university mathematics education majors and natural science courses chemistry education. Then I underwent a student activities as appropriate. Such as work assignments, presentations, practical work in the laboratory, creating reports, and others. In years passed right end on Wednesday 27th April 2011, I followed the thesis examination. I am grateful for my graduation. Subsequently, on 22 June 2011 I attended the Unsri graduated to 99 and on 23 June 2011 following my graduation. Then, I teach, apply knowledge, and educating boys and girls in high school Srijaya Negara Palembang and 3 public high school districts Lais Banyuasin district. Appropriate department, I give chemistry to my students.
Okay, I'll tell you about my experience teaching chemistry. I teach a class X material is the oxidation number. I explain the material in advance, explaining an example, as well as providing training. Meaning or oxidation state Oxidation Numbers Oxidation Numbers an element in a compound equals the number of electrons that have been released or captured / bound by the atoms of the element in the formation of a compound. Oxidation state can also be described as the cargo of an element in a bond with other elements. There are two oxidation states, a positive oxidation state of an element = the number of electrons is released while the negative oxidation states = number of electrons captured or received by any other element.

Rules in Determining Oxidation Numbers
1.      All free elements or elements that are not bonded to other elements such as for example H2, O2, Cl2, K, Fe and others then oxidation states is 0
2.      Ion has an oxidation state equal to the amount of cargo, eg Cl- Oxidation Numbers = -1; Li + = +1; PO43- = -3; SO42- = -2
3.      In its compounds : Or F Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine and all elements located in group VIIa or halogen which is the most electronegative element, Oxidation = -1, while the VIA group (S and O) = -2. The oxidation number of O = -2 except F2O compounds, O = +2. On the compound H2O2 and BaO2, O = -1. On the compound KO2, O = -1 / 2. H = +1 oxidation state, except in compounds NaH and KH, H = -1. Group IA alkali or oxidation state = +1. IIA alkaline oxidation state = +2

For example: Calculate the oxidation number in bold below ! H2O

Do we have to know the rules in determining the oxidation state in both free element, the element of the charged, nor compounds are uncharged and charged compounds.
Here's the answer :
·         H2O
Oxidation Numbers H + Oxidation Numbers O           = 0
(2 x Oxidation Numbers H) + Oxidation Numbers O  = 0
(2 x Oxidation Numbers H) +             (-2)                    = 0
(2 x Oxidation Numbers H)                                          = +2
Oxidation Numbers H                                                  = +1

After I explain, give examples, and exercises like the above, a lot of my students are interested and understand the material. This is evident from the exercise they are doing an average student I can answer. Then, I take a daily test values with the advance one by one student to work on the problems of oxidation states.
I was amazed to one of my students, the name is R.A. Anggun class X.2 Plus. She very quickly do the problem that I have provided. Matter of fact I gave quite difficult. Not only in the subjects of Chemistry, Anggun also discerning in other subjects. Besides its gorgeous, she also has a good personality. Anggun became the first champion in its class. I as well as his homeroom teacher constantly monitor progress.
I always remember that Anggun always ask me about the material that he has not understood. She always said :  Could you return the material to explain that I did not understand this? And I would always answer : of course. Oh yes, Anggun never made me laugh once when she asked: miss, will you marry your close friend? My response can only smile answered her question.
That bit of my experience during the teaching and educate the students. There's something funny, fun, annoying, angered, annoyed. All in One. However, I still love my job is because I love to share my knowledge which is not only the world but also the good of the good in the heaven, and InsyaAllah willing be a amal jariyah  for me. Amiin
